Michael's Daily Wisdom

Never Worry

In our daily lives, we as people tend to worry about things that prevent us from accomplishing our goals. At times during our jobs or home life, we get stressed and burned out of so many bills to pay to maintain a home, while providing for our children at the same time. Just going through with that situation alone can give anyone a headache don’t you agree? In a stressed environment, we can lose sleep, get worked up, feel frustrated, and even torment ourselves by over-working after midnight, depending on a profession we work for. Also, we cannot dwell on our daily troubles of life and feel uneasy when we know we need rest.

In Matthew 11:28-30, the scripture tells us, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle nd humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light,” meaning we should come to God humbly and give ourselves to him, letting him know our daily troubles in detail so we can be helped. As God’s people, we need to put forth our troubles before God and ask for help. Too many times we do not ask God for help and we end up suffering because of our fear of him. When we worry too much, we create a lot of stress for ourselves, which inhibits us from finishing our daily tasks.

So, my dear friends, it is very important that we put our trust in God and worry not about the troubles of life. If God is for us, who can be against us? Today, I encourage you to not only ask God for help but to believe that God will make sure that your burdens are lifted.

Remember, God will bless you more abundantly!
