Michael's Daily Wisdom

Suicide Awareness

For a long time now, suicide has been affected by millions of people, and even children currently in today’s world. As parents, you should always be mindful of what your children are doing each and every day because anything can happen in a given situation in your home. You may not know if your child is going through a rough day at school and suddenly find out that your child is dead because of what the outside world thinks of them. Even though it is the parents to blame, children or young adults are the ones to blame as well because they choose to have suicidal thoughts and use them as a last resort to destroy themselves. In Isaiah 41:10, the scripture tells us, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand,” meaning God will always be there to comfort you whenever you go through hard times and He will never leave you.

If more children and young adults have this mindset all the time, imagine the impact it will bring to others who are going through suicide and wants a better life. No one is in an aisle by themselves. As a community, we need to look out for one another and do the best we can to prevent children and adults from committing suicide. You can assemble people to help create a “suicide awareness” facility, where you could promote them in your neighborhood and invite children and young adults for treatment. We need to give children the love and support they need because that is what is lacking today. If more parents were more involved in their children’s lives, there would not have been a lot of suicide deaths.

So, my dear friends, take charge and always be watchful over your children’s lives and spend more time with them. I hope that this message gives you the encouragement you need to protect your children from killing themselves.

Remember, God will bless you more abundantly!
