In our daily lives, we as people rely on our skills and abilities in our own professions, but not using our willpower to endure the hard labor. Back then, there were no complaints about work. You have to finish every task assigned to you every day, even if it may be tiring and could provide a lot of money to feed your families. Currently in our world today, we do not have to work as hard and rely on just our skills we have learned, either from school or a training session. Having willpower will energize you to put in more effort in your craft and have a finishing mentality. Do not slack off just because a workload is too hard for you to complete.
In Hebrews 12:1, the scripture tells us,”Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, “meaning we have to go on a spiritual journey as a race to run with endurance and not let anything hinder us from our purpose. As God’s people, we cannot give up when a challenge seems too difficult for us to handle and expect people to cover for us because of our lack of willpower. What we need to do is use our passion for a good and share it with the world, not complaining about how hard it is.
Every workload in our profession will not always be easy for us to handle and it is up to us to have willpower and endure hardships because that is what makes us who we are. So, my dear friends, we have to have more willpower and complete our tasks on time, willing ourselves to finish them. If you ever feel that you are alone, seek God’s help and he will guide your daily steps. I hope this message encourage you to have willpower in your lives and never give up.
Remember, God will bless you more abundantly!
