Time Management

In our everyday lives, we spend a lot of time on our devices and other activities, rather than spending time with God to help motivate us in our life. As God’s people, we are not to manage our time the same way the world manages their time. We must make sure that we seek God in everything that we do or we will fail. We are to organize our time and plan wisely for the future. Time is one thing we have a problem with and it all starts with us on whether we use it effectively or not. In Ephesians 5:15-16, the scripture tells us that we should “be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise, but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil,” meaning we should take advantage of every opportunity that is in front of us and use our time wisely, knowing what is important for us and always remain focused.

Also, we cannot waste our time with worldly things of this world and let them consume us to lose our focus. What we should do is move forward with diligence and divine purpose in our lives towards our ultimate goal, that is to serve God. We are to accomplish as much as we can with the time God has given us and execute. So, my dear friends, it is imperative that we live as if each minute counts because time is precious. What we live determines the time we spent in our daily lives and we have to give God account for the times we wasted along the way. So I say to you, remain hopeful and use your time wisely.

Remember, God will bless you more abundantly!

  1. Time is indeed a precious resource. And, actually everyone needs to read this one, because I see many who don’t manage their time properly. Your point , that, in leisure time, we should go close to God; well that’s the best way to spend leisure time; in the serenity and love of God! Beautiful post, some indeed very beautiful things mentioned in it. ( you are a nice motivator!)
