Every day in our lives, we as people experienced different situations where we have to take responsibility for how we treat people, care for someone, involve in duties or other reasons in order for us to say we have done our part. However, there are times where we fell short and treat others harshly by taking credit for someone else’s idea, blame people for their faults, or even take control over people’s jobs for our benefit. This is where responsibility comes in. In Colossians 3:23-24, the scripture tells us, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ,” meaning we are responsible for what we do at work and be a liability in your lives.
As God’s people, we need to take more responsibility for our actions and own up to them, no matter how difficult it may be. How will you feel if someone came up with a solution to help cure cancer and you did not share it with others? If we do not share what we know, these simple instances can cause a person’s life and we need to take it seriously. So, my dear friends, it is imperative that we become responsible for our actions and be not the sayers of the word, but doers of it.
Remember, God will bless you more abundantly!
You know what, the scripture simply stood out for me in the whole article. You just choose some very thoughtful, insightful and philosophical scriptures, which I’ve never heard of, before. But just by reading it for the first time, it motivates me. So, ya, once again, a very well written one.
